I made these lounge pants from the Amy Butler In Stiches book a few weeks ago. I modified slightly by making a really big cuff at the bottom, used fabric from my stash, Amy Bulter as well. Right after taking this photo I actually told my husband I would wear these everywhere if it were socially acceptable to wear pajamas in public. Needless to say I love these pants, the fit and the fabric are perfect. -kb

I had a coupon for my local bookstore. Decided that I needed a treat. Set off in search of In Stitches and they DIDN'T HAVE IT...
Your lounge pants are lovely. Hopefully I'll be able to buy the book and make my own one day.
The pants look great. I have In Stitches too, and have been meaning to try the lounge pants. Now that the weather is getting colder I think it's time!
Those pants look great. I would wear lounge pants all the time too if it were acceptable. I love your choice of fabric.
Great lounge pants. It should be acceptable to wear these in public
ohhh they look lovely and comfy! there is nothing like getting into something comfy to wear at home....I'd wear mine everywhere too!
love your pool lounges too...sadly we don't have enough space around our pool for anything like that and keira might think it was a trampoline into the pool even if we did! poor pools...they get so neglected in winter!
my sleeping sack came from ottobre issue 5/2006 but I'll trace it and give you a copy as I make it longer and easier than the pattern in the mag! I made one for keira with polar fleece that had cupcakes embroidered all over it! oh I wish I'd bought more of that lovely fabric!
happy sewing
Corrie:)
Still totally jealous of your 50 odd metres of Amy. Love the pants. I think I need some.
Those are fantastic pants - I have yet to make anything from that book...but perhaps lounge pants is where I should start. Anyways...your pants look fantastic!
Hey those pants look fantastic. Yell out if you want some fisherman pants made that you could wear to work!!
