A day in the city

Friday I ventured into the city for a few errands with Scout in tow. I took her to some of my favorite spots including Tiffany, Prada and the Strand Arcade for some serious window shopping. She was all smiles and loved checking out all the sounds and colors. We lunched at the David Jones Food Hall (love that place) and browsed through endless Japanese sewing books at Kinokuniya. It was our first mother daughter shopping trip to the city, I had a blast, she was amazing and I can't wait for all the adventures like this we will share in the future. We came home with 3 books, the rest of the day was just browsing. I thought there was nothing as great as shopping with your mom, but now I have shopping with my daughter. Sounds like a lovely day. Makes me wish I had a daughter to share those future moments with. That T shirt is so pretty!

That sounds like a fun day. It's been ages since I've window shopped. Shopping seems to be more like a military exercise around here: run in, complete the mission and get back to base in as short a time as possible...

oh yes I love shopping with my little miss! yesterday we picked out 2 little party dresses from DJ's and some jewellery but be warned that as early as 2 they will tell you what they like and at the moment its all pink, dresses and sparkly but we did settle on a denim dress so that was a win!!!!!!!

She tells her daddy she's going to the mall for some shopping.....so cute!
