Our annual mothers group birthday party is next weekend. Since I don't often get the chance to sew for little girls, I picked a girl for the gift exchange. Along with a few other girly goodies, I made a white corduroy dress inspired by a few I've seen online and in some Japanese sewing books. I love the simplicity and fingers crossed am hoping her mother doesn't ring my neck for making a white dress! -kb

I can say, with quite a bit of conviction, that all mothers of little girls want white dresses for them. It's just that we rarely feel brave enough to make or buy them. So a white gift is very much appreciated.
Hope your pregnancy is going well.
It looks gorgeous. White always looks so perfect on wee ones. It doesn't stay perfect around here, but it's worth it to see my kids looking (briefly) angelic...
